Two of Argentine Patagonia’s great objectives in a single seven-day expedition: the near-perfect volcanic cone of Lanín, and the glaciated bulk of Mount Tronador. The program begins in San Martín de los Andes, builds through the ascent and summit of Lanín, gives you a full rest day in Bariloche to recover, then finishes with the technical, glacier-terrain ascent of Tronador.
Volcano Lanín. A striking, near-symmetrical volcanic cone on the Argentina–Chile border, climbed via an ascent to a high camp on the domes before a summit push.
Mount Tronador. A glaciated massif above the Pampa Linda valley in Nahuel Huapi National Park, approached via the Otto Meiling Refuge. The summit day is on genuine high-mountain, glaciated terrain, with technical equipment provided specifically for the ascent.
Throughout, the group is accompanied by professional local mountain guides, with logistics organised to keep the experience safe, comfortable, and properly memorable.

The Expedition
Day 1 — Arrival in San Martín de los Andes Reception of participants, a meeting with your guides, equipment check, and preparation for the mountain days ahead. Hotel overnight.
Day 2 — Volcano Lanín: ascent to the domes An early departure toward the Lanín area, ascending steadily to the domes while adapting to terrain and altitude. Overnight at the Lanín domes.
Day 3 — Lanín summit, descent, Bariloche An early-morning push to the summit of Volcano Lanín, followed by the descent to the trailhead. In the afternoon, travel on to San Carlos de Bariloche for a comfortable hotel night of rest and recovery.
Day 4 — Rest day in Bariloche A free day to recover after the Lanín ascent — and time for an Argentinian asado — before the second high-mountain stage begins. Hotel overnight.
Day 5 — Pampa Linda & Otto Meiling Refuge Travel to Pampa Linda, the gateway to the Tronador area, then ascend to the Otto Meiling Refuge through the spectacular surroundings of Nahuel Huapi National Park. Refuge overnight.
Day 6 — Tronador summit, descent, Hotel Tronador An early start for summit day, climbing in a high-mountain environment on glaciated terrain — technical equipment for this day is provided. After the summit, descend to Pampa Linda and continue to Hotel Tronador for a well-earned night of rest.
Day 7 — Transfer to the airport Breakfast, transfer to San Carlos de Bariloche, and on to the airport — program ends.
