THE ANDES & PATAGONIA
South America’s great ranges couldn’t be more different from one another — the thin air and sheer scale of the Andes’ highest peak, and the wild, weather-beaten volcanoes and glaciers of Patagonia further south. Together they open up a whole new kind of expedition for our clients, run in partnership with trusted local guides on the ground.
Aconcagua
(13 days + contingency day)
An ascent of the highest peak in the Americas, at 6,961m. A serious high-altitude expedition, led by our lead guide Luciana Marun, built around careful acclimatisation and a genuine summit push.
Not sure where to start?
Looking for the biggest physical and altitude challenge on our books? Aconcagua is the objective — the highest summit outside Asia, demanding serious preparation and patience with acclimatisation. Want a shorter expedition into genuinely wild, remote terrain, blending a volcanic summit with glacier travel? The Volcano Lanín & Mount Tronador Expedition is the trip for you.
A note on weather and conditions
Both the high Andes and Patagonia are known for fast-changing, powerful weather systems. As with all our expeditions, summit attempts are weather and condition dependent, and the final say on safety always rests with your guides on the ground.
“Having a tailored approach to my training, adjusted to my body type and experience was really useful.”
