About Outlier Ascents
Born out of the desire to share our passion for the mountains and the belief that anyone can achieve their goals given the right training.
Outlier Ascents is the brainchild of a group of experienced climbers and adventurers who wanted to share their passion for mountaineering with others. What began as a small team running trips in the Alps has grown into an international team of fully qualified IFMGA guides, expert physical trainers and dedicated expedition support staff, based across Chamonix, Patagonia and the UK — each bringing years of first-hand experience on the terrain they guide, from Mont Blanc and the Matterhorn to the high altitude of Aconcagua and the wild ranges of Patagonia.
Whether you are completely new to mountaineering or an experienced climber working towards a technical objective, our international team has the expertise, and the miles on the mountain, to help you reach your full potential.

At Outlier Ascents, we believe that mountaineering is more than just a physical challenge — it’s a mental and emotional journey, whatever mountain you’re aiming for. Our team is here to support you every step of the way, from the initial fitness training and UK conditioning trips in North Wales, through technical skills courses and Alps expeditions on peaks like Mont Blanc, the Matterhorn and the Eiger, to high-altitude objectives such as Aconcagua and the wild volcanic and glaciated terrain of Patagonia — as well as ski touring routes like the Vallée Blanche and the Haute Route. Whatever the objective, the approach is the same: proper preparation, expert guidance, and a team invested in getting you there safely. We believe that with the right training, guidance, and support, anyone can achieve their dream of climbing and skiing in the world’s great mountain ranges.
