Widely regarded as one of the best ridge walks in Britain, the Snowdon Horseshoe links the knife-edge scramble of Crib Goch with the summit of Snowdon and the quieter ridge of Y Lliwedd. Exposed, thrilling, and technical in places — this is one of the great UK mountain days.
Who is this for?
This trip is a step up, suited to those with some scrambling experience or a good head for exposure. If you’ve done grade 1 scrambling before and want to push into more serious, airy terrain, the Horseshoe is a natural next challenge.
